iPad use by Continental/United pilots saves trees and fuel

As per this month's AOPA magazine, the merged airline of Continental and United is giving it's pilots an iPad with Jeppesens Mobile Flight Deck. It is expected to save 12,000,000 sheets of paper and by weight reduction, 326,000 galons of fuel each year. What a return on investment.
